Built from a passion and love for pets, Ulti-Mutt Wags and Play serves pets in RDU and beyond. We feel proud of the work that we do and are honored to have so many regular and returning clients. Spending so much of our time walking, playing, and snuggling with your pets fills our cup! Our goal is always to love on your pets and to create positive relationships that makes each client a returning one.

With Ulti-Mutt, your pet gets to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their routine. Unlike daycare, your pet gets one-on-one care from us, preventing the spread of illnesses and caring for our furry friends who may not be dog friendly.
We love all pets, regardless of breed, behavioral needs, or medical conditions. We are not only willing but happy to create a care plan that works for your pet. Our meet and greets are a great opportunity to talk about any special needs your pet may have.
We aren’t in this for quick cash. Unlike popular pet sitting apps, we cultivate a relationship with your pets and your family. We’ve built this business from the ground up because it’s our passion, and you can trust that our hearts are in it for the right reasons.

We’ve been friends for years and love running our business together. When we’re not hanging out with your pets, you can find us hiking, traveling internationally, or spending time outside.
our beginning
The story of Ulti-Mutt Wags and Play
During a gap year from school, we started volunteering at a local shelter, serving at the kennel and fostered dogs. We specifically took care of foster dogs with medical or behavioral needs who benefited from more intentional, one-on-one time. We helped them recover from procedures, build confidence, and get ready for their forever homes!
We’ve had lots of experiences in the pet industry (assistant managing at pet stores, intensive fostering, pet sitting, and more). People were always asking us for recommendations for pet sitters, and we decided to start Ulti-Mutt Wags and Play to help meet others’ needs. Now, we get to do what we love every single day!
